You Do Not Have to Leave Love Behind to Keep Living with Our Grief Support Programs.

Carry Them Forward offers compassionate, grief support programs that help bereaved adults honor the person they love, stay meaningfully connected, and continue living with that love woven into what comes next.

Grief changes the shape of a life. It can change your routines, your relationships, your identity, and the future you thought you knew. Yet the relationship with the person who died does not simply disappear.

Carry Them Forward was created for the space between remembering and continuing, for people who need a way forward that does not ask them to forget, detach, or rush toward closure.

Here, moving forward means carrying love, meaning, memory, and connection into the life that remains.

CARRY

Learn what you are carrying and find ways to hold the relationship, the story, and the impact of your loss with greater care.

A compassionate framework for living with loss, not leaving it behind.

The Grieving Forward Method

CONNECT

Create intentional ways to remain connected through memory, ritual, values, legacy, and the love that continues.

CONTINUE

Take meaningful steps into the life ahead without treating continued living, joy, or purpose as a betrayal.

WHY THIS WORK IS DIFFERENT

Picture of Angela Prather, LMHC, NCC, CLC

Professional Training. Lived Experience. Compassionate Structure.

Carry Them Forward was founded by Angela Prather, LMHC, NCC, CLC, a grief-informed mental health professional, educator, Navy veteran, and bereaved mother. Her work is informed by both professional practice and lived experience in bereavement.

The result is support that respects the depth of grief while offering language, tools, and connection for the life that continues.

“The workshops provided a safe space to finally speak my truth. It wasn't just about the loss, but about how to carry it forward with grace.”

Sparks P., Participant

“We found a methodology that honors the weight of grief while teaching us how to live with it. It’s the most compassionate integration we’ve ever experienced.”

James L., Participant

“This program didn't just offer a workshop; it offered a way to finally breathe again. The integration process is as beautiful as it is necessary.”
